Words from our Founding Principal

Choosing an international school for the next step in your career is increasingly difficult as the number and variety of schools continues to grow. Here at Jataka, we offer something a little different: the chance to join us at the beginning of our journey, and the opportunity to contribute and share your ideas. Moreover, we are passionate about supporting our team in developing as individuals, discovering their unique selves, and reaching their potential.

As a school leader, I am committed to conscious leadership—creating a space where all stakeholders feel seen, where we work in collaboration, where you feel supported, and where you can grow and expand beyond your imagination. And as an educator, my background in Early Years means I am committed to creating spaces of play and exploration, whatever the age.

The opportunity to join Jataka as a founding team member is truly unique and we look forward to hearing from you.

With best wishes,

Rachael Stevens

Professional Development

At Jataka, rooted in our belief in a research-based approach to teaching and learning, we offer our staff opportunities for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) both in-house and with external providers. This supports our teaching community’s access to high-quality, specialised training, ensuring they stay abreast of current best practices regarding child development, pedagogy, and subject-specific knowledge.

Enrichment Program

To support our staff in deepening their knowledge and experience of Buddhist Education, we also offer a staff Enrichment Program (EP). Curated for each staff member, our EP programme includes opportunities to study and engage with Buddhist philosophy and contemplative techniques from various Buddhist traditions. With a focus on personal development, the EP programme is also a central pillar of our community-building endeavours. We aim to cultivate a dharmic and harmonious environment for all stakeholders.
