Admissions
Beginning Your Journey
Choosing a school is an important decision—one that takes time and reflection.
At Jataka, we approach admissions as a process of getting to know each child and their family, and exploring whether there is a genuine alignment with our approach to learning.
We are a deliberately small school, and place value on curiosity, openness, and a shared commitment to a thoughtful approach to education: families come to Jataka seeking an education that is both rigorous and reflective.
Now Enrolling
For the 2027/28 academic year, we are accepting young learners aged 3–7 for Early Years 1 through to Year 2

Visit Us
Visiting Jataka will give you the truest sense of our culture, community, and environment. We invite you to visit us in-person at an Open House, Discovery Day, or by booking a private tour.
Through these events you will have the opportunity to learn more about our research-based academic provision and our unique wisdom-informed approach, to explore our classrooms and learning spaces, and to discover what stimulates and inspires life and work at The Jataka School.
Open House
Open Houses are an excellent chance to get a general feel for the school, and are often the first contact prospective families have with Jataka.
You are welcome to attend an Open House at any time, but we particularly recommend these events for parents with children aged 1.5+.
Please note that seats at our Open House events are limited.
Our next Open House is on Saturday, 07 November 2026.
