Lower Primary Years 1–2
The Jataka School will open Year 1 and Year 2 in 2027/28
Ready to build on the foundational skills they developed in the Early Years, Key Stage 1 students are now ready to secure more knowledge content as their explorations into literacy and numeracy deepen.
Inquiry-based
While maintaining a child-initiated approach to hands-on learning in our curated environment, learning in Key Stage 1 expands to provide an inquiry-based approach to the integrated subjects through our localised units of learning.
Learning
Compassion
Combining a deepening understanding of our school community, local culture, and Buddhist wisdom, our Year 1 and 2 students begin to think beyond themselves and consider how they can be of service to others. This nascent compassion is nurtured through experiences with teamwork, service, and trips to our local area, where they explore all that Bangkok has to offer.
Following the completion of Key Stage 1, Jataka students are ready to enter Year 3 as confident and eager learners, creating and communicating their own stories and taking pleasure in the challenges and wonders of their hands-on discoveries.
